You see? This is what you hippies did to modern homes. Now your house is an obstacle course. This is the flight of stairs that Macaulay Culkin wished he had in the movie Home Alone.
Those steps look like a lunatic designed them. Macaulay Culkin wanted these in his movie? Who are you calling a Hippie? LOL! I sure hope you aren’t linking that actor with the likes of me a true blue hippie!!
My first thought is to have a health event. (Child birth, crashed while skiing and break a leg so you are now on crutches) and then try to navigate those. EMS and rescue would do a workaround and have the tools to do so, but to try and go up and down those steps when you can’t see them or walking with sticks because of a busted leg? Yeah, they look neat, but you can keep them.
Those steps are crazy! Who’d ever design something like that?

That is crazy! I love them though. My Dorian, adventurous as she is, would climb those like a champ.

What a fabulous way to piss off drunken party guests: “The bathroom’s upstairs to the left.”

I wonder what a kid would make of those? I reckon they’d be good to slide down.

Couldn’t carry a dresser up that mess. I like them for some reason, makes me want to run up them side to side. Not with wet feet though.
