Sometimes, we just want to know that celebrities are just like us. Well, they aren’t. They are perfect beings who look down on us from above. Get over it.

But just in case you still think so, here are 10 celebrities who have twins that you may not have known about.

 

1. Scarlett Johansson and Hunter Johansson
Hunter stands a foot taller than his celebrity sister, even though she was born three minutes before him. Scarlett has taken her brother to numerous high-profile events, including the White House correspondents’ dinner one year. He is quite taken with politics and has worked on a presidential election campaign.

He may ride the bus, but it’s a cool campaign bus. I hear some of those have arcade games on them. And strippers, but that’s besides the point.

 

2. Gisele Bundchen and Patricia Bundchen
Before she was Mrs. Tom Brady, supermodel Gisele was raised in Brazil with five sisters, all with unpronounceable names. Patricia also pursued modeling, but only her sister persisted, ultimately becoming the world’s highest paid supermodel. I guess Patricia wished she stuck with modeling just a little bit longer.

 

3. Ashton Kutcher and Michael Kutcher
Ashton is the eldest, having been born minutes before his fraternal twin. Michael considers Ashton his best friend, which is predictable of him to say. If I were Michael, I would latch onto Ashton’s underbelly like a sucker fish.

 

4. Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse
These twin brothers broke into acting by playing the same boy on the hit comedy Big Daddy, starring Adam Sandler. The identical twins went on to star on Disney Channel sitcoms, which if Miley Cyrus was any indication, they will be lip licking and humping teddy bears on stage before too long.

 

5. Giovanni Ribisi and Marissa Ribisi
You remember that guy from friends? Yeah, that’s him. He has a twin sister. They both grew up as Scientologists for some reason *shiver*. Marissa had a go at acting as well, with roles in movies like Dazed and Confused and Pleasantville, which almost couldn’t be more opposite.

 

6. Jenna Bush and Barbara Bush
If you’ve only ever heard of Jenna, then move over. There’s Barbara, too. These fraternal twins became known when their father, former Pres. George W. Bush, took office. Yale grad Barbara, the older of the two, went on to co-found a nonprofit company called Global Health Corps. Jenna is a contributor to NBC nightly news and is a Today Show correspondent. They also love their chocolate, just like I do.

Also, doesn’t Global Health Corps. sound like the fictional name of a company that would spread a zombie virus?

 

7. Alanis Morissette and Wade Morrissette
The Morissette twins are both musicians and were born 12 minutes apart. Alanis once said that she is a huge fan of her twin brother’s kirtan music. Awe, that’s so cute. I bet she tapes the sheet music to their refrigerator, just like the Beatles did when Ringo tried to write a song.

 

8. Aaron Carter and Angel Carter
This one is a bonus, because these two twins grew up with a famous older brother, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys. Nowadays, the Backstreet Boys is worth a lukewarm pile of mashed potatoes, but back in the day, they were very popular. They say Aaron went on to do something in music, but I have no idea what, and Angel went on to marry Corey Conrad. Nick was noticeably absent at the wedding.

 

9. Benji Madden and Joel Madden
These two identical twins first felt the spotlight through their band Good Charlotte, which became quite popular. Benji dated stars such as Paris Hilton, which for some reason doesn’t feel like something to boast about. Joel is now married to Nicole Richie, the other half of Paris Elton from the show The Simple Life. Also not an accomplishment.

 

10. Charlotte Ronson and Samantha Ronson
Charlotte is a successful designer, while Sam is a sought after DJ who once dated Lindsay Lohan. Ugh. Come on, folks. I really wanted to say good things about the people all these twins have dated, but between Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsay Lohan, I got nothing.
