Police in the Beijing suburb of Xisancu today reported a particularly strange murder case. The remains of the victim had been found in a rice paddy, 15 miles from town in the farming district.
Family members have confirmed the identity of the victim. Investigators are fervent in their search for evidence.
Strangely enough, the murder weapon was found not far from the scene. Two wooden carvings with cheap gemstone eyes were discovered, each looking like a tourist souvenir. The blood on the blunt-end of the carvings matched the victim, and police also found fingerprints on the handle, presumably the suspect’s.
While there still aren’t any leads on motive, the head investigator held a press conference, where he said in his 20 year career, this is the first instance of a similar nature he had ever seen.
It looks like this might be the world’s first knick-knack paddywhack. Nursery rhymes just got a little more frightening.

Oh, ouch.

I think a little part of me just died. It died laughing, at least, but it’s still dead.

Oh. Well, as long as it’s dead, I suppose it doesn’t matter.
